America Recycles Day

America Recycles Day (ARD), November 15, is the only nationally recognized day dedicated to encouraging Americans to recycle and buy recycled products. Since 1997, communities across the country have come together on this date to celebrate recycling efforts. More than a celebration, America Recycle's Day is the only nationally recognized day dedicated to the promotion of recycling programs in the United States.

One day to inform and educate. One day to get our neighbors, friends and community leaders excited about what can be accomplished when we all work together. One day to make recycling bigger and better 365 days a year.

On November 15 each year, millions of people become better informed about the importance of daily recycling and buying recycled products. The purpose of America Recycles Day is to continue to promote the social, environmental and economic benefits of recycling and encourage more people to join the movement toward creating a better natural environment.
